These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Clawrie app ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Clawrie is a nutrition tracking app that uses artificial intelligence to estimate the nutritional content of meals from photographs. The App offers two access modes:

• Clawrie Pro (Subscription) — AI analysis powered by Clawrie's servers. No API key required.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) — Free access using your own OpenAI API key. API usage costs are billed directly by OpenAI to your account.

2. Clawrie Pro Subscription

Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Clawrie Pro → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Payment: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency before purchase.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Usage Limits: Clawrie Pro subscribers may perform up to 15 AI-powered meal analyses per day. This limit resets daily at midnight UTC.

3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

BYOK users provide their own OpenAI API key. You are responsible for:

• The security of your API key
• All costs incurred on your OpenAI account
• Compliance with OpenAI's terms of service

Clawrie stores your API key securely in the iOS Keychain and only uses it to make API calls on your behalf.

4. AI Nutrition Analysis Disclaimer

Clawrie does not guarantee the accuracy of any nutritional information provided by the AI. Actual nutritional values may vary based on ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and other factors.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
• Abuse the AI analysis service (e.g., automated bulk requests)
• Share or resell your Clawrie Pro subscription access

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and content are the intellectual property of the developer. Your meal data and photos remain your property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clawrie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to inaccurate nutrition estimates, data loss, or service interruptions.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Diese Nutzungsbedingungen ("Bedingungen") regeln Ihre Nutzung der Clawrie-App ("die App"). Durch die Nutzung der App stimmen Sie diesen Bedingungen zu.

1. Leistungsbeschreibung

Clawrie ist eine Ernahrungs-Tracking-App, die kunstliche Intelligenz nutzt, um den Nahrwertgehalt von Mahlzeiten anhand von Fotos zu schatzen. Die App bietet zwei Zugangsmodi:

• Clawrie Pro (Abonnement) — KI-Analyse uber Clawrie-Server. Kein API-Schlussel erforderlich.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) — Kostenloser Zugang mit eigenem OpenAI-API-Schlussel. API-Nutzungskosten werden direkt von OpenAI abgerechnet.

2. Clawrie Pro Abonnement

Automatische Verlangerung: Ihr Abonnement verlangert sich automatisch am Ende jedes Abrechnungszeitraums, es sei denn, Sie kundigen mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ablauf des aktuellen Zeitraums.

Kundigung: Sie konnen Ihr Abonnement jederzeit uber Ihre Apple-ID-Einstellungen kundigen: Einstellungen → Apple-ID → Abonnements → Clawrie Pro → Abonnement kundigen. Die Kundigung wird zum Ende des aktuellen Abrechnungszeitraums wirksam.

Zahlung: Alle Zahlungen werden von Apple uber den App Store abgewickelt.

Ruckerstattungen: Ruckerstattungsanfragen werden von Apple bearbeitet unter reportaproblem.apple.com.

Nutzungslimits: Clawrie-Pro-Abonnenten konnen bis zu 15 KI-gestuetzte Mahlzeitenanalysen pro Tag durchfuhren.

3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

BYOK-Nutzer stellen ihren eigenen OpenAI-API-Schlussel bereit. Sie sind verantwortlich fur:

• Die Sicherheit Ihres API-Schlussels
• Alle auf Ihrem OpenAI-Konto anfallenden Kosten
• Die Einhaltung der OpenAI-Nutzungsbedingungen

4. Haftungsausschluss fur KI-Nahrwertanalyse

5. Haftungsbeschränkung

Soweit gesetzlich zulassig wird Clawrie "wie besehen" ohne jegliche Garantie bereitgestellt. Wir haften nicht fur Schaden, die aus der Nutzung der App entstehen.

6. Anwendbares Recht

Diese Bedingungen unterliegen dem Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Die Online-Streitbeilegungsplattform der Europaischen Kommission ist verfugbar unter ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
